Easter will be here before you know it! So, this week I decided to create a few cards featuring the Easter Friends stamp set. As with many of my card ideas, these card layouts can be used with any stamp set or supplies that you have on hand. Just get creative with it!
Easter Friends Bunny Cards
First let’s talk about the Easter Friends stamp set. The set has a variety of images which you can use to create cards for other occasions, not just Easter. I love the adorable bunny and chick images in the set. The first set of cards feature the bunny image. The image provides all the fine detail when you stamp it. You can then just add a bit of color to highlight the details. Of course, I used some stampin’ blends to add a bit of color but any coloring tools will work.
The first card features the bunny image as the focal point. The card really pops with the texture in the background and some of the pops of color from the DSP. The second card showcases more patterned paper, from the Pansy Petals DSP pack, versus the texture in the first card. Super simple and adorable! You can get all the measurements and supplies in the tutorial below.
Simple Layering
The next two cards feature the adorable little chick images and just a bit of layering. This time the images are stamped using black memento ink and colored in with the Daffodil Delight stampin’ blends. The patterned papers from the Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper pack really work well for Easter or Spring themed cards.
Add a little pizzazz to the card with some heat embossed greetings. Simply stamp the image on some black cardstock, sprinkle the image with white embossing powder, tap off the excess and heat to set the image. It really “pops” the greeting on the card.
Tutorial & Supplies
The cards feature the Easter Friends stamp set and some of the Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper. However, keep in mind you can really use these card layouts with any supplies you have on hand.
