Whether you’re crafting for Valentine’s Day, anniversaries, or just sending a little love, this bundle offers endless creative possibilities. Today, I’m sharing fun and simple ways to use the Heart Shaped Bundle along with card layouts that help you use up those precious scraps. Let’s get crafting!

Heart Shaped Bundle

First let’s talk about the Heart Shaped Bundle from Stampin’ Up! This particular bundle includes a stamp set and coordinating die set. For these first two cards, I am showcasing the versatility of this bundle by using the exact same card layout. The first card features the die cut heart for the focal point while the second card features the stamped image. You can easily change out the colors too!

To create the layout for the card, start with a 5 x 3-3/4″ piece of cardstock. Add a 4-1/4 x 3-1/2″ embossed cardstock layer. The patterned paper layer measures 4-1/4 x 2-1/4 “. Use a 3-inch circle shape to create the focal point.

The Heart-Shaped Bundle is one of the many different items you can choose for free, with a qualifying purchase, during Sale-A-Bration. Don’t wait too long to snag some freebies during Sale-A-Bration as it ends on February 28, 2025. Learn more this bundle and Sale-A-Bration HERE.

Versatile Card Layout

The next four card ideas showcase the versatility of simply using one card layout. The basic layout for the cards includes a 5-1/4 x 4″ piece of embossed cardstock. The patterned paper layers include a 5-1/4 x 1″ piece and 5 x 1-1/2″ piece.

You can use the Heart Shaped Bundle to create a stamped heart image, or a die cut heart shape. These first two cards feature the layout in landscape style.

The last two card ideas feature the exact same cardstock and patterned paper layers. However, this time the layers are added to the card in portrait style. It gives the card a whole new look without changing the measurements of the background layers.

Using Up Scraps

Don’t let your leftover scraps go to waste! I try very hard to use up my scrap piece right away! I don’t want to throw them away, but I also do not want to store them either. Here are a few quick and easy layouts that make the most of your paper pieces.

The first card features a great way to use up little scrap pieces of patterned paper. The green paper pieces measure 2 x 1″. The purple piece measures 2 x 1-1/4″. Adhere the paper pieces to the left side of a 5 x 3-3/4″ piece of cardstock. Add a 2-1/2 x 3-1/2″ piece of embossed cardstock and then add your focal point.

The layout for the second card is very similar to the first. Except this time, we are adding longer scrap pieces of patterned paper directly to the card front. The patterned paper pieces, from left to right, measure 7/8 x 3-3/4″, 1-1/4 x 3-3/4″ and 2-1/2 x 3-3/4″. The focal point features both the stamped and die cut heart shape layered together. It gives the card such a fun look!
