Dainty Flowers One Sheet Wonder Cards

Learn how to cut up your patterned papers with this double one sheet wonder template. We will cut up two 6 x 6 inch pieces of the Dainty Flowers Designer Series Paper (DSP) to create 5 cards. This is one of the many beautiful NEW papers coming out in the new Stampin’ Up! catalogs in January 2023!

Dainty Flowers DSP

The Dainty Flowers DSP is one of four different patterned papers which will be part of the Saleabration offering in January 2023. The cool thing about the Dainy Flowers DSP is that it’s easy to cut it up to create some simple yet beautiful cards. So today we will cut up two 6 x 6 inch pieces of this DSP to create 5 cards. I chose the 6 x 6 inch size to reflect the paper size in my product share.

2-Card One Sheet Wonder

The first one sheet wonder template is featured above. Simply cut the 6 x 6 inch piece of paper in half at 3 inches. Cut a 1/2 section off the top of each piece. You will be left with two pieces of paper measuring 3 x 5-1/2 inches and two pieces at 3 x 1/2 inches. We will be using these pieces to create these beautiful cards.

Take each of the 3 x 5-1/2 inch pieces of DSP and adhere them to a 3-1/2 x 5-1/2 inch piece of Old Olive cardstock. Add one to a white card base and one to a Rich Razzleberry card base. The paper does all the work! You can add a greeting and decorate as desired.

3-Card One Sheet Wonder

Now let’s talk about the 3 card one sheet wonder. The next set of cards feature the beautiful oval floral sprays. When the paper is cut down to 6 x 6 inch size, you end up with a full oval, a half oval and a partial spray of flowers. So this one sheet wonder teaches you how to use this piece of DSP to create 3 cards.

The first card showcases the floral oval spray cut down to 3-3/4 x 5 inches. Add the DSP to a 4 x 5-1/4 inch piece of Rich Razzleberry cardstock and adhere to the card front. Then decorate as desired.

The next card features a 2-1/4 x 5 inch piece of DSP, from the one sheet wonder, the half oval of flowers. The last card features the 1 x 5-1/2 inch piece of DSP from the one sheet wonder template. Simply add some additional patterned paper and Rich Razzleberry cardstock to create the layout. You can get all the step-by-step instructions in the tutorial below.
