Today I have 7 different card ideas to share featuring the November 2022 Paper Pumpkin Kit called From the North Pole. The kit contains all the materials you need to create 12 Christmas tags. However, I decided to turn those tags into cards! Super fun and a great way to get the most out of this month’s kit!
Paper Pumpkin Kit
The November 2022 Paper Pumpkin kit contains all the supplies you need to create 12 Christmas Tags. There are 3 different designs and enough supplies to create 4 of each design. The name of the kit is called “From the North Pole” and it coordinates well with the October kit! If you haven’t seen my alternate projects for the October 2022 kit, you can view them HERE.

Each Paper Pumpkin kit includes an exclusive stamp set, an ink spot and a variety of supplies to create the projects. The stamp set in the November 2022 Paper Pumpkin kit features 11 different images you can use to make the kit projects and, of course, use for additional card making.
Santa Hat Cards
Let’s start by talking about the Santa Hat cards. The November 2022 Paper Pumpkin kit contains 4 Santa Hats for making the tags from the kit. However, I decided to use those cute little Santa hats for card making. These first two cards have a more rustic style to them. Cherry Cobbler and Crumb Cake colors work well together. To create the first card, start with a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock for the base of the card. Randomly stamp the large reindeer image across the card base using Crumb Cake ink. Cut a 2 x 5-1/2 inch piece of the Sweetest Christmas Designer Series Paper and adhere it down the center of the card front. Add a 3-1/2 x 2-1/2 inch piece of vellum behind the tag and then embellish with elements from the kit.

The second card idea is very similar to the first one. However, this time I embossed the card front using the Merry Melody Embossing Folder. Lightly sponge a bit of Crumb Cake ink across the embossed area to enhance the embossing. Add a 1/4 x 5-1/2 inch piece of black cardstock to the right side of the card front. Cut a 2 x 3-1/4 inch piece of DSP and adhere behind one of the tags. Embellish the card with elements from the kit and a Wonderful Snowflake.
Candy Cane Cards
The fun thing about using the supplies in the November 2022 Paper Pumpkin kit is that you can mix and match the die cut elements to create a variety of different cards. The first card showcases the mint green sparkly tag from the kit with the candy cane die cut pieces. It makes a beautiful Christmas card in traditional colors. Start with a piece of Shaded Spruce cardstock for the base of your card. Cut a 4 x 5-1/2 inch piece of white cardstock. Tear about 3/4 inch off each side of the white cardstock and adhere to the center of the card front. Cut off the top of one of the red striped tags and adhere it behind the sparkly tag. Add the candy cane and a few other elements. Super simple and so pretty!

The second card features the candy cane tag design from the kit. Cut a 5 x 3-3/4 inch piece of white cardstock and emboss it with the Merry Melodie embossing folder. Adhere to a 5-1/4 x 4 inch piece of black cardstock and then adhere to the Crumb Cake card front. Create the candy cane tag and add the striped tag (with the top cut off) behind the holly jolly tag. Use a few wonderful snowflakes and other elements from the kit to decorate the card.
Reindeer Cards
The last couple of cards feature the reindeer image from the November 2022 Paper Pumpkin kit. The large circle shapes came from the kit. I simply stamped the reindeer image in the center of each circle shape which became the focal point for each of the cards. The first card features the reindeer image in the center of the mint green sparkly tag from the kit. Cut a 4 x 5-1/4 inch piece of white cardstock and emboss it with the Merry Melody embossing folder. Tear about 3/4 inch off the bottom of the white cardstock. Add a 1 x 4 inch piece of DSP across the bottom of the card front and then adhere the white embossed cardstock.

The second card idea features the same tag elements as the first card. However, this time I added the tag in landscape style instead of portrait style. Start with a piece of black cardstock for the base of the card. Cut a 5-1/4 x 4 inch piece of white cardstock. Add a 3 x 3-1/2 inch piece of DSP to the left side of the white cardstock. For the finishing touch, embellish with the tag and elements from the kit.
Using Up Scraps
The last alternate card idea features a simple card design and a great way to use up some scraps. Start with a piece of cherry cobbler cardstock for the base of the card. Cut a 4-3/4 x 3-1/2 inch piece of white cardstock and emboss it with the Quatrefoil Tile embossing folder. Adhere to the center of the card front. Cut a 5-1/2 x 1-1/2 inch piece of black cardstock and adhere across the card front. Add the reindeer focal point and the little snowflake elements.

Did you notice the green sparkly center in each of the little snowflakes? I saved the little dots which pop out of the top of the tags and added them to the center of the snowflakes! Super fun and a great way to use up those scrap little dots.
Video Tutorial
As you can see, there are a variety of different things you can create with the stamp set and materials in each Paper Pumpkin kit! However, you must subscribe to the program by the 10th of each month in order to receive that month’s kit. Once the deadline passes, the kits are no longer available. So, I highly recommend becoming a subscriber, so you don’t miss out on the fun! Learn more about the monthly Paper Pumpkin kit program HERE.
