Today I have 5 simple masculine card designs to share featuring the Stampin’ Up Well Dressed. This is a NEW stamp set that is part of the Saleabration second release which is coming out on March 3, 2020! It’s super exciting to see a masculine themed stamp set as part of the Saleabration offering!
Besides the fun new stamp set, these cards also feature some of the plaid patterned papers from the Country Club Designer Series Paper pack. Although this DSP has a variety of golf themed patterns, the back side of the paper has some fun plaids and argyle patterns. And they are perfect for creating masculine cards.
3 Designs – 9 Cards
Now these first 3 masculine cards demonstrate how versatile these designs are. Simply change out the colors and patterned papers to create additional cards! The first card design is a 4 panel layout. Simply cut 4 pieces of cardstock at 1-3/4 x 2-1/8 inches. Stamp the fun little images from the Stampin Up Well Dressed set on each of the panels and adhere them to the card front. The background on each of these cards is simply a 5-1/4 x 4 inch piece of plaid paper from the Country Club DSP pack. For the finishing touch, embellish the center of each card with a bit of baker’s twine and a little tailored tag greeting.
Notice that each card features the exact same design, or layout. The only difference are the color combinations. The colors are Night of Navy, Garden Green and Basic Gray which coordinate with the Country Club plaid patterned papers.
This second card layout features another simple masculine card design. The middle section of the card is simply a 3 x 4-1/4 inch piece of cardstock. The patterned paper pieces are cut at 1 x 4-1/4 inches.
The third card layout features one of my favorite designs. Start with a 2 x 5-1/2 inch piece of patterned paper. Cut a 1-1/2 x 5-1/2 inch piece of cardstock. Tear one side of the cardstock and adhere it to the bottom of the patterned paper. Once you have the two pieces adhered together, then go ahead and adhere it to the card front and embellish as desired.
More Easy Card Designs
These last two masculine card designs feature a combination of colors. Of course they are both simple layouts too! The first card features a 1-1/2 x 4 inch piece of patterned paper and a little piece of torn cardstock on the left side of the card. The focal point of the card features three different colored ties all hanging in a row. The middle tie is actually cut out by hand and popped up on the card with a few dimensionals. And did you notice the tie tacks? Just a few small rhinestones make great tie tacks!
The second card features a 3 x 5-1/2 inch piece of patterned paper adhered directly down the center of the card front. Add a 3-1/4 x 5-1/2 inch piece of cardstock behind the patterned paper before adhering. This will serve as a matte behind the patterned paper. For the finishing touch, embellish the center of the card with some stamp images.
Creating masculine cards can be a bit challenging. If you are looking for more masculine card ideas, you can find some HERE. I hope you enjoyed these card ideas and a little sneak peek into the Saleabration release. Have a creative day! ~ Lynn
