Serene Scenery Scrapbook Page

Good Morning Stampin’ Friends! Today I have a quick and simple scrapbook page to share with all of you!  My daughter and I have been busy creating some fun little pages for the scrapbooks we have of the kiddos.  Well, she was busy creating while I was smoochin’ on the kiddos 🙂  She decided to play around with the new Serene Scenery Designer Series Paper (DSP) pack as she just absolutely loves the images. Plus, she wanted to make a flowery page for her daughter’s book. Let’s take a close look at the layout.

Start with a 12 x 12 piece of daffodil delight cardstock for the base of the page. She used a full 6 x 6 inch piece of one of the scenes from the Serene Scenery DSP pack. She matted out the DSP using a 7 x 7 inch piece of soft suede cardstock; tucking a little piece of a paper doily behind each corner of the DSP before adhering it to the matte.  Using Daffodil Delight ink (the same color as the cardstock) she randomly stamped the large Definitely Dahlia stamp as shown.  Cut a 12 inch piece of some burlap (or other ribbon) and run it across the center of the 12 x 12 piece of cardstock. Secure the matted DSP over the burlap using dimensionals. For the finishing touch, cut out a few embellishments using black glimmer paper or embellish as you like! Enjoy!
