This was one of my favorite creations this month! I just love the vibrant colors! And… these colors can be found in Stampin’ Up!’s new Retro Fresh Product Suite! Now, the only actual retro fresh product I used on this particular card was the washi tape…but I did follow the retro fresh color schemes in designing this card….colors such as: So Saffron, Baked Brown Sugar, Coastal Cabana and Tangerine Tango!
To make this card, start with a piece of whisper white cardstock for the base of the card. Cut a 5 1/4 x 4 inch piece of tangerine tango cardstock and emboss it with the new scallops embossing folder. Cut a 2 1/2 x 4 inch piece of the yellow Polka Dot Parade Designer Series Paper (DSP) and matte it to a 2 3/4 x 4 1/4 inch piece of So Saffron cardstock. Punch out a 1 3/4 inch circle of coastal cabana cardstock. On a piece of whisper white cardstock stamp the two different flower images using tangerine tango ink. The flower images are from two different stamp sets, Flower Shop and Petitie Petals, and they each have a coordinating punch! I layered the two different sized flowers together and secured them to the coastal cabana circle I punched out earlier. For the final touches, I added a bit of retro fresh washi tape to the bottom of the DSP and a little pennant sentiment. You can use this card for any occasion, just change the sentiment! Enjoy!
