If you love quick and easy cardmaking projects, you’re going to enjoy this easy one sheet wonder idea! Today we will take a look at a fun way to create six spring-themed cards using just one 12 x 12″ sheet of the Easter Joy Designer Series Paper from Stampin’ Up!
The Template
What makes the Easter Joy Designer Series Paper (DSP) so special is that the 12″ x 12″ sheet already includes pre-printed spring-themed scenes. That means much of the design work is already done for you. All you need to do is cut the sheet apart and turn each scene into a finished card. It’s almost like having a One Sheet Wonder template built right into the patterned paper!
Start by cutting each scene from the Easter Joy DSP into 4 x 6″ pieces. The top three vertical columns of scenes are spaced 4″ apart. The two horizontal rows of scenes on this 12 x 12″ sheet are spaced 6″ apart. Once you have 6 pieces measuring 4 x 6″ you will need to cut down the 6″ side to 5-1/2″ in order to fit it on an A2 size card.
Easter Joy Card Ideas
Now that you have 6 pieces of the Easter Joy DSP measuring 4 x 5-1/2″ you are ready to create some cards. All the cards I am sharing today feature the Easter Basket Bundle and other products from the Easter Joy suite from Stampin’ Up! However, feel free to decorate your cards with any supplies you have on hand.
Adhere each 4 x 5-1/2″ scene, cut from the DSP, to an A2 size Shy Shamrock card base. Since the artwork is already pre-printed on the DSP, you can simply add different layers, die cut shapes, and embellishments to finish off the scene. It’s such a quick and simple way to make a variety of cards! Be sure to watch the replay of the livestream for some tips on decorating the cards and on how to put together the Easter Baskets.

One of the things I love about these cards is how beginner-friendly they are. If you’re new to card making, these layouts make it easy to create professional-looking cards. If you’re more experienced, it’s a wonderful way to mass-produce cards quickly while still creating something beautiful.
