Let’s stamp a one sheet wonder template to create 4 masculine themed cards all at once! The cards feature the Trusty Tool stamp set from Stampin’ Up! However, keep in mind you can use any stamp set you have on hand to create your own one sheet wonder design.
Stamping Template
First let’s talk about how to create the stamping template. Start with a 10 x 7-1/2 inch piece of white cardstock. Take a pencil and make a light mark vertically at 5 inches down the center of the 10-inch side. Next, make a pencil line at 3-3/4 inches horizontally across the 7-1/2 inch side of the cardstock. You will end up with 4 sections measuring 3-3/4 x 5 inches.
Now you are ready to add the stamped images! Randomly stamp a variety of different images around the pencil lines on the cardstock. Make sure that you have stamped images in all 4 sections of the cardstock. Once you have completed the stamping, cut the cardstock into 4 pieces by cutting on the pencil lines.
I recommend stamping two of these templates right away. You can cut apart one for the outside of the cards and the other to decorate the inside of the cards.
Trusty Tools Cards
Once you have finished the stamping and cutting, you are ready to assemble the cards. Add one 3-3/4 x 5 inch piece of the stamped cardstock to 4 different Early Espresso card bases. You can stamp a greeting in the white space on each of the 4 cards. Or you can get a little fancy and add a layered greeting to each of the cards.
The colors showcased on these cards include Poppy Parade, Crushed Curry, Smoky Slate, Early Espresso, Pecan Pie and Lost Lagoon. However, keep in mind you can use any colors and any stamp set you have on hand with this 4-card technique!
Each time I stamp a one sheet wonder, I like to “fill in” some of the white space with a little splatter image. It really helps to finish off the card! The splatter image for these cards came from the Country Birdhouse stamp set.
