Fresh as a Daisy – 7 Card One Sheet Wonder

Learn how to create a variety of simple cards from one sheet of the Fresh as a Daisy Designer Series Paper. The paper has it’s own One Sheet Wonder template, you just have to cut it apart on the lines which are already there. And I created 7 cards with this one sheet of paper. The Fresh as a Daisy Designer Series Paper is one of the many beautiful papers available in the NEW Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog!

One Sheet Wonder

First let’s talk about the Fresh as a Daisy Designer Series Paper. The paper pack comes with a variety of different designs you can use in your card making. For these cards, we will focus on one of the sheets of DSP in this pack. Notice the different patterns and sections on this sheet of paper. Simply cut on the lines in between each of the sections to create the pieces for the One Sheet Wonder. No measuring required! Simply use the template found right in the DSP!

Once you cut all the patterns out of the DSP, you are now ready to create the cards! The first card features the top two patterns of the DSP layered together. Add a 3-1/4 x 2-3/4 inch piece of vellum across the center. To create the focal point, cut the daisy, with a scissors, from one of the other papers in the Fresh as a Daisy DSP pack.

The second card idea features the 5-1/4 x 4 inch daisy pattern in the center of the DSP. Simply adhere it to a piece of white cardstock and then embellish as desired. Super simple! The third card features the 5-1/4 x 4 inch piece of Fresh as a Daisy DSP which looks like a beach scene. It’s the lower left section of the DSP pictured above. For this card, I simply cut a 1-1/2 x 5-1/4 inch piece of one of the other daisy papers and adhered it to the right side of the DSP to cover up the yellow part of the DSP. Add a 1/4 x 5-1/4 inch piece of Copper Clay cardstock and embellish as desired.

Fresh as a Daisy

The next two card ideas feature the beautiful daisy sections cut from the sheet of the Fresh as a Daisy DSP (pictured above). I made a few slight modifications to these pieces to create the cards. For the first card, Cut the DSP down to 3-3/4 x 5 inches and adhere it to an Early Espresso card base. Decorate as desired.

The second card idea features two of the pieces of the Fresh as a Daisy DSP. Adhere the small Garden Green piece (from the bottom of the DSP) to the left center side of a white card base. Cut the daisies (with the pink background) down to 3-1/2 x 4 inches and adhere it off the right side of the card front. Add a greeting and embellish as desired.

Moody Mauve Cards

The last two card ideas feature the gray texture and blue rain drop pieces of DSP (as pictured above). I simply flipped over these pieces of DSP and used the Moody Mauve colored section on the back. For the first card, cut a 4 x 5-1/4 inch piece of white cardstock and emboss it with the Time Worn Type 3D embossing folder. Adhere the 3 x 4 inch piece of moody mauve DSP to the card front, as shown, and embellish as desired.

For the second card, cut a 4 x 5-1/4 inch piece of white cardstock and emboss it with the Time Worn Type 3D embossing folder. Next, take the floral DSP and cut it in half so you end up with two pieces. Adhere one piece to the left and one to the right side of the white cardstock. Take the 2-3/4 x 3-3/4 inch piece of moody mauve DSP and adhere it to the card front so it overlaps the floral DSP. Embellish as desired.

Now you have 7 different cards you can create from one piece of the Fresh as a Daisy DSP. I hope you enjoyed these card ideas. Be sure to watch the video to see the creation of these cards in action! Have a fun and creative day! ~ Lynn
