In this week’s video I am featuring a beautiful new product bundle called Nature’s Harvest from the Stampin’ Up! mini catalog. I thought this was the perfect bundle of products to showcase a fun angle card design. The angled card design was inspired by a fellow demonstrator Nicole Steele. Special thanks goes out to her for this amazing yet simple card idea. Besides learning how to create this angle card design, I also put together a second card using up the scraps.
Angle Card Designs
The first card features a fun fold angle card design. It’s almost like a gate fold card except the front flaps overlap. The card base is a 5-1/2 x 11 inch piece of card stock which is scored at 3-3/8 and 7-5/8 inches. The creation of the angle design involves cutting two angles. Cut the first one from the top to the side. Cut the second angle from the side to the bottom. I highly recommend watching the video to see the creation of the angle cuts in action!
The second card design showcases a fun way to use the leftover triangular pieces. These are the leftovers from creating the angled fun fold card. Yes, we can use up those little leftover scraps to make a fun backdrop on the card. Simply add a 1 x 4-1/4 inch strip of patterned paper down the middle. Then add the triangular pieces on each side. Then decorate as desired.

The cards feature the Nature’s Harvest Bundle and some of the fun products from the Harvest Meadows suite. However, keep in mind you can use any supplies you have on hand to create these cards.
