Beary Comforting Card Ideas – Stampin’ Up! Paper Pumpkin

Today I have 4 simple card layouts to share which feature the exclusive stamp set from the Stampin’ Up! Beary Comforting Paper Pumpkin kit! Now if you didn’t get in on this month’s Paper Pumpkin kit, no worries! These card layouts can be used with any supplies you have on hand. Just get creative with it!

Beary Comforting Kit Projects

This month’s Stampin’ Up! Paper Pumpkin kit is called Beary Comforting. The kit contains all of the materials to create 12 cards; 4 of each of the 3 different designs. These cards are super simple to create since everything in the kit is pre cut and ready to assemble. There is just a little bit of stamping to create the greeting for each of these cards. Plus, each card has a coordinating envelope!

While I love to create my own designs, I really look forward to receiving my kit each month. The projects are super cute and there are a variety of different things you can create with the materials in each kit! However, you must subscribe to the program by the 10th of each month in order to receive that month’s kit. Once the deadline passes, the kits are no longer available. So I highly recommend becoming a subscriber so you don’t miss out on the fun! Learn more about the monthly Paper Pumpkin kit program HERE.

Card Ideas Featuring the Stamp Set

As with all Paper Pumpkin kits, this month’s kit includes an exclusive stamp set. The stamp set features 6 different images you can use in your card making. However, this adorable bear image is my absolute favorite and, as such, it is the focal point on each of these card ideas.

This particular image does require a bit of coloring. I tend to use Stampin’ Blends for all of my coloring. However, watercolor pencils, markers or other coloring tools will work great too. Now I created the focal points before designing any of the card layouts. It’s much easier to design a card when you already know what you want to use as the main focal point.

The first two card ideas simply feature some patterned paper in the background. The use of patterned paper is an easy way to create a fun and simple background for your focal point. These last two card designs feature some embossing and watercoloring. These are also easy background ideas that accent the focal point nicely.
