Shaker cards are super fun to make but they can be a little putzy. Well today I am going to share two snow globe shaker card ideas that are super simple to make! The cards feature the new Snowman Season stamp set and a variety of other NEW products from the 2019 Stampin Up Holiday catalog!
Besides the two shaker cards, I will also share a third card idea with you that features a fun way to use the left over pieces from creating the snow globe.
Snow Globe Shaker Card
In this week’s video, you will learn how to use the new snow globe domes to create some fun and super simple shaker cards. It’s the easiest shaker card you will ever make! I promise! The first card I have to share with you is featured below along with a little decorating idea for the inside of the card.
The snow globe shaker domes are a fun new product in the 2019 Stampin’ Up Holiday catalog. The snow globe domes and the die set are not featured with the Snowman Season stamp set but as you can see they work well together! In fact, the snow globe die set and domes will work well with just about any stamp set. This particular card features the snow globe dome on the card front but you can also use the die to create a little window shaker card as well!
Window Card
Besides using the snow globe as an accent piece, you can also use them to create a fun little window card.
The snow globe shaker part of the card is actually adhered to the inside of the card. However, when the card is closed the snow globe is visible through the window on the front of the card. Pretty cool, hey?
Now there is a little trick to creating the window section of the card so be sure to watch the video to learn how to do it! It’s not hard, but it is a lot easier to understand if you see it in action on the video.
Quick and Simple Card Idea
Now this last card idea features a fun way to use those dome shaped pieces that were left over from cutting out the spot for the shaker dome.

Now the cards featured in this video showcase the adorable Snowman Seasons stamp set from the 2019 Stampin Up Holiday catalog. But keep in mind that you can use any stamp set or any patterned papers you have on hand to create these cards Just get creative with it!
