Let’s talk Paper Pumpkin! The November kit was just as fabulous as the October one. This was the first time we had two coordinating kits! You could actually mix and match the stamps and products in the kits to create some fabulous projects! I was too excited to play with the October one so I put everything together before the November one even arrived! The October kit contained materials to create some fun shaker cards and the November kit contained all of the materials to create these adorable little stockings. Combine the projects from the two kits and you had a fun Christmas card and gift giving idea! And plaid is my favorite pattern. It has such a warm and cozy look to it. The November kit contained all of the materials to create these 10 stockings.
Super fun! But the creativity did not stop there! I created a variety of different cards with the stamp set and some of the extra materials in the November kit. Of course I added some of my favorite plaid patterned materials as well. The Christmas Around the World Designer Series Paper (DSP) from Stampin’ Up! has some pretty plaid patterns which were perfect for creating these beautiful cards. The sentiments and other images from the exclusive stamp set that came in the kit were just beautiful and fun to play with.
I love creating cards with the traditional red and green colors for Christmas. But when stamping snowflakes, different shades of blue work much better! For these cards, I used the little snowflake image in the stamp set and my Winter Wonder embossing folder. The kit contained a variety of gold embossed snowflakes so I used the blue and gold theme to create these cards.
