Hello Stampin’ Friends! Hope you are enjoying your 4th of July holiday weekend! We are getting ready for the big fireworks celebration tonight! And, of course, we had to get in some patriotic crafting time today too! I have a fun patriotic card to share with all of you today that was designed by my daughter, Tiffany Mundt. She was playing around with the gorgeous grunge stamp set and using up some of the different shapes I had lying around on my crafting table. Before I knew it, she created this fun little patriotic card. Let’s take a closer look at how to make it!
She started with a piece of real red cardstock for the base of the card. Cut a 5 x 3-3/4 inch piece of white white cardstock. Randomly stamp some of the splatter images from the gorgeous grundge stamp set onto the white cardstock; alternate your colors between night of navy and real red. Cut a 1 x 5 inch piece of night of navy cardstock and adhere it to the center of the white cardstock as shown using a bit of snail or other adhesive. Cut out two smaller sized stars, from some dazzling diamond glimmer paper, using the framelit diest; adhere them to the night of navy cardstock using dimensionals. Stamp a little sentiment, from the Thoughtful Banners set, on a scrap piece of white cardstock and cut it out with the coordinating punch and adhere to the center of the stars as shown. That’s it! How cute and simple! Enjoy your holiday weekend!
