Christmas Creation #16 is an adorable little card that uses the Happy Hour stamp set from the Annual catalog! For this card you can easily replace the string of stars with a few more strips of your favorite designer paper!
To make this card, start with a piece of smoky slate cardstock for the base of the card. Cut a few strips of your favorite designer paper…cut them at different lengths to give more dimension to your card. Punch out a 2 1/2 inch circle using the smoky slate cardstock and a 2 3/8 inch scalloped circle using real red. using smoky slate ink, I stamped one of the happy hour images on a piece of whisper white cardstock. I added a little candy cane stamped in red…there is also a holly berry stamp you could use as well (it comes in the set). Then simply punch out the image with the 1 3/4 inch circle punch. Put the entire card together as shown above…be sure to use dimensionals to layer everything! Once your card is together, add a bit of crystal effects to the “liquid” in the glass. Once the crystal effects dries, it will give your image a glossy 3-D look!
