The final project in the heartfelt banner kit is a little decorated caning jar! I decided that this would be the best use for all of the pom poms and mini clothes pins in the kit! For this project, most of the items came from the kit…the only additional items that you need are some type of sentiment for the front of the jar and a bit of your favorite ribbon which is tied to the top of the jar…oh…and you need a jar 🙂
To make this project, simply thread 6 pom poms together…3 for the front and 3 for the back. Tie the string of pom poms to the top of the jar. Clip the remaining products found in the kit to the string in between all of the pom poms.
It’s a great way to decorate one of your caning jars! And…when you are finished decorating, fill it with your favorite candy, popcorn or even crafting items like buttons or ribbon. You decide what fun stuff to put in it!
