3D Pop Up Cross Card

If you’re looking for a unique and meaningful card design to express your faith or to encourage someone, you’re going to love this 3D Pop-Up Cross Card! Whether you’re preparing for Easter, a baptism, or simply want to share a message of hope, this card is a heartfelt way to bless someone through the art of paper crafting.

Pop Up Cross

First let’s talk about how to create the base of this 3D Pop Up Cross card. Start with a 7-1/2 x 4-1/4 inch piece of Lemon Lolly cardstock. Score the cardstock at 1-1/2, 3, 4-1/2 and 6 inches. Accordion fold the sides of the cardstock to create the pop up section in the center of the card.

Next, cut a 3-3/4 x 1-1/4 inch piece of Lemon Lolly cardstock. Adhere this piece horizontally across the pop up section. That’s it! You can decorate the pop up cross with any supplies you have on hand.

Now let’s add the back piece which will help to stabilize the card and provide a place to add a personal message. Cut a 4-1/4 x 4 inch piece of Pecan Pie cardstock and a 4 x 3-3/4 inch piece of white cardstock. Adhere the two pieces together and then adhere it to the two panels on the back of the card. Be sure to watch the video for some tips on adhering the back panel and to see this process in action!
