If you love fun fold cards that impress but are still easy to make, this inside pop-up card is perfect for you! It folds flat for mailing and pops up beautifully when opened, making it a delightful surprise for the recipient. Today, I’m featuring the Terrific Toadstools Bundle from Stampin’ Up!, but you can easily recreate this card with any supplies you have on hand.
Inside Pop-Up Section
Let’s talk about how to create the pop-up section on the inside of the card. Start by creating a top folding card base. Cut a 4-1/4 x 11 inch piece of cardstock. Score the 11-inch side at 5-1/2 inches.

Next, cut a 3-3/4 x 10-1/2 inch piece of white cardstock. Score the 10-1/2 inch side at 4-1/4, 5-1/4 and 6-1/4 inches. Accordion fold the cardstock to create a little “step” in the middle of the cardstock. This is the inside pop-up section of the card. That little step features some of the images from the Terrific Toadstools stamp set. However, you can use ANY supplies you have on hand to create and decorate your card.
