If you love quick and easy card-making with a touch of elegance, the Celebrate Love Ephemera Pack is the perfect addition to your crafting stash! Today, I’m sharing six simple yet stunning card ideas using this beautiful ephemera pack. Each design has two variations—one in pink and one in purple—giving you plenty of inspiration for your next creative venture.
These cards are perfect for anniversaries, weddings, Valentine’s Day, or just to send a little love to someone special. Let’s dive in!
Celebrate Love Ephemera
First let’s talk about the Celebrate Love ephemera pack. The pack includes a variety of pre-cut and colored elements for you to use in card making or any other paper crafting project. There are a total of 6 sheets; 2 sheets each of 3 different designs. The designs include precut hearts, sentiments, and water-colored images. All you need are a few card design ideas to help get you started!
The layout for the first card is simply a 4 x 5-1/4 inch piece of embossed white cardstock. Add a 2-1/4 x 5-1/2 inch piece of patterned paper and then decorate the card with the Celebrate Love ephemera pack. The second card features the exact same layout, I simply changed out the colors and added a die-cut heart created with the Hearts of Elegance bundle.
Hearts of Elegance
One of the fun things about the Celebrate Love ephemera pack is that you can combine the precut images with your favorite heart stamp and die sets. For these cards, I am using the die from the Hearts of Elegance bundle to create little patterned paper hearts. The heart shapes in this bundle pair up nicely with the hearts in the Celebrate Love ephemera pack.
To create the layout for these cards, start with a 2 x 4-1/4 inch piece of patterned paper. Cut a 3-1/2 x 2-3/4 inch piece of white cardstock and emboss it with the Dashing Designs 3D embossing folder. Adhere the embossed cardstock to a 3-3/4 x 3 inch piece of cardstock to create the backdrop for the hearts.
Monochromatic Card Ideas
All the Celebrate Love card ideas feature some of the patterned paper from the Toadstool Garden Designer Series Paper pack. This is one of the many different items you can choose for free with a qualifying order during Saleabration. I also used some of the crackle paint patterned paper from the Shades & Hues Designer Series Paper pack. However, keep in mind you can use any patterned paper you have on hand with these card layouts. The possibilities are really endless!
These last two card ideas feature a monochromatic color scheme. To create the layout, start with a 2 x 5-1/4 inch piece of patterned paper. Dovetail the end of the paper and adhere it down the center of the card front. Cut a 3 x 3 inch piece of patterned paper (or emboss a piece of white cardstock). Add a 3-1/4 x 3-1/4 inch piece of cardstock behind the 3 x 3 inch piece and adhere to the card front as shown. Decorate the card with a variety of ephemera hearts or die cut your own hearts to create the focal point.
