Let’s have a little Reindeer Fun and play around with some card and scrapbooking ideas! The products in the Reindeer Memories Scrapbook kit can be used for card making and/or scrapbooking. There are lots of extra cardstock and designer paper in this kit for you to get creative with!
Scrapbook Layouts
First let’s talk about the Reindeer Memories Scrapbook workshop kit! The kit comes with all the instructions for cutting the patterned paper and assembling the 3-two-page layouts. A total of 6 pages which are 12 x 12 inch in size.
There is a full 12 x 12 inch sheet of stickers you can use to decorate the layouts. Plus, you will have a few left-over stickers which you can use on the scrapbook layouts or to create other projects.

Reindeer Fun
Once you create the scrapbook layouts, you can use the leftover supplies to make some cute cards! I made 6 cards, but you certainly have enough supplies left over to make many more. However, if you decide to use the stickers for card making, you will not have enough stickers to decorate the scrapbook pages. I would recommend using the Reindeer Days DSP & Sticker Sheet combo pack for card making.
For the first card, simply layer together a piece of cardstock and patterned paper. The cardstock layer is 4-1/2 x 3-1/4″. The patterned paper layer is 4-3/4 x 2-1/2″. Add a 3″ circle shape and decorate as desired.
The layout for the second card idea features a panel card design. There are two pieces of patterned paper and one piece of white embossed cardstock. All the pieces measure 1-1/2 x 3-3/4″. Next, cut a 1-1/2 x 5″ piece of white cardstock, do a little paper tearing, and stamp a greeting on it.
The third card idea is a great way to use the tree stickers. Start with a 4 x 3-1/2″ piece of Garden Green cardstock. Add a 4-1/2 x 3-1/2″ piece of embossed white cardstock. Complete some paper tearing on a 1-1/2 x 2-1/2″ piece of white cardstock and add a greeting. Tuck a few tree images behind the greeting.
The layout for the last card idea features the large forest scene sticker as the focal point. The patterned paper layer is 2-1/2 x 5-1/2″. The embossed white cardstock layer is 3-1/2 x 4-1/4″. Add the greeting using the torn paper technique.
Card Making with Scraps
Now let’s talk about how to use some of the scrap pieces of patterned paper left over from the Reindeer Memories kit. When creating the scrapbook pages, I ended up with quite a few of these small scraps.
The first card idea features the half-inch wide scraps woven together vertically and horizontally across the card base. The papers running horizontally across the top of the card measure 1/2 x 5-1/2″. The papers running vertically down the card front measure 1/2 x 4-1/4″. This fun and simple weaving design can be created with any papers and can be used to create cards for any occasion.
The second card idea showcases a few banners made from small scraps. Create the focal point for the card first. Start with a 3-1/2 x 4-3/4″ piece of embossed white cardstock. Add the greeting using a bit of paper tearing and tuck in the focal point. The brown banner measure 1 x 1-3/4″. The green banner measures 3/4 x 1-1/4″. Dovetail the ends of the cardstock to create the banners. It’s a simple and easy way to add layers to any card.
