Let’s play around with the NEW Autumn to Remember workshop kit! The products in this kit can be used for card making and/or scrapbooking. You can actually use just one Autumn to Remember Scrapbook Workshop Kit to create all 6 cards and 6 scrapbook layouts!
Scrapbook Layouts
The Autumn to Remember Scrapbook workshop kit is fun to create with! The kit comes with all the instructions for cutting the patterned paper and assembling the 3-two page layouts. A total of 6 pages which are 12 x 12 inch in size.
There is a full 12 x 12 inch sheet of stickers you can use to decorate the layouts. Plus, you will have left over stickers which you can use on the scrapbook layouts or to create other projects.
Besides the sticker sheet, this kit also came with a variety of foam elements which actually looked like wood. There are quite a few different elements you can add to the layouts and, of course, you will have left over pieces which you can use to create other projects.
Autumn Card Ideas
Once you create the scrapbook layouts, you can use the leftover supplies to make some cute cards! I made 6 cards, but you certainly have enough supplies left over to make many more. You can even use the stickers and other kit embellishments to create greetings and focal points.
For the first card, simply layer together three different pieces of patterned paper. The measurements for the pieces are as follows: 2 x 5″ (brown), 1 x 4-1/4″ (green) and 1-1/2 x 3-1/2″ (Cajun).
The layout for the second card idea features patterned paper and cardstock. The patterned paper pieces measure 1-1/2 x 5-1/2″ (brown) and 2 x 4″ (trees). The Early Espresso cardstock piece measures 1-3/4 x 4-1/2 inches.
The third card idea is a great way to use up larger scraps. The patterned paper pieces are 1-3/4 wide but the lengths vary. I adhered them in each of the corners of a 3-3/4 x 5 inch piece of white cardstock. Add a 3-7/8 x 5-1/8″ inch piece of Early Espresso cardstock befor adhering to the card front. The center piece is a green sticker with a 1-1/2 x 3-3/4 inch piece of patterned paper adhered over the top.
The layout for the last card idea features a combination of patterned paper and stickers adhered to a 3 x 4 iinch piece of Early Espresso cardstock. The patterned paper pieces are 7/8 x 3-3/4″ and 1-1/2 x 3-5/8 inches. The top two banners are actually stickers. Adhere the focal point to a 5-1/4 x 4 inch piece of embossed white cardstock.
Using Up Scraps
Now let’s talk about how to use the half-inch wide scrap pieces of patterned paper left over from the Autumn to Remember kit. When creating the scrapbook pages, I ended up with quite a few of these small scraps. You can easily layer them together to create a fun background for your focal point.
The first card idea features the half-inch wide scraps layered together vertically across the card base. Start with a 5″ long piece in the center. Then add 4-1/2, 4-1/4, and 4-inch pieces on each side of the center piece.
The second card idea showcases the half-inch wide strips adhered horizontally. Start with a 1 x 4 inch piece (the green paper) in the center. Then add varying lengths above and below that piece. The length of the half-inch strips, from top to bottom, are 4, 4-1/2, 4-1/4 and 3-1/2 inches.
