Creating the Two Fun Folds
Let’s talk about how to create the first fun fold section which is found in the base of the card. Simply cut a 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 inch piece of cardstock. Score the 8-1/2 inch side at 4-1/4 inches to create a standard card base. Next, cut a 2-1/4 x 5-1/2 inch piece off the card front. Save this piece as you can use it to decorate the front of the card.
The section fun fold section of the card involves the use of patterned paper. Cut a 5-1/4 x 8 inch piece of double-sided patterned paper. Score the 8-inch side at 4 inches. You are basically creating a card from patterned paper. Adhere the patterned paper card to the inside of the cardstock base. That’s it!
