Today I have a variety of Christmas card ideas to share. Yes, it’s a little Christmas in July! The cards feature a variety of products from the NEW Season of Green & Gold collection from Stampin’ Up!
Seasons of Green & Gold
First let’s talk about the Seasons of Green & Gold collection from Stampin’ Up! This is a NEW online exclusive which was just launched last week. The collection includes stamp sets, dies, designer paper, ribbon and embellishments. One of my favorite things about this new collection is, of course, the designer paper.
The suite has two different stamp sets. The Golden Greenery stamp set features a variety of different springs and bell shapes which you can use in your card making. There is also a coordinating die set which cuts out the stamped images AND…it also cuts out the images in the Seasons of Green & Gold paper! yes, I cut out the pine branches and bells right from the paper and used them to create the focal points on each of the cards.

The layout for the first card features a 5 x 3-3/4 and 1 x 5 inch piece of patterned paper. The cardstock matte is a 5-1/4 x 4 inch piece of Mossy Meadow. The greeting features an image and die shape from the Greetings of the Season bundle.
The second features the same cardstock matte as the first card. The patterned paper layers include a 3-3/4 x 5 inch piece, a 2 x 3-3/4 inch piece, and 1 x 3-3/4 inch piece
Using Up Scraps
While creating with the Seasons of Green & Gold papers, I began to accumulate a few little scrap pieces of patterned paper. As such, I like to use them up right away! These next couple of card ideas feature some fun and simple layouts for using up scraps.
The first card features a very simple way to use up scrap strips of paper. Start by embossing a 4-3/4 x 3-1/2 inch piece of white cardstock. Then simply add a 1/2 inch wide strips of paper across the bottom of the embossed cardstock. You can decorate it with any greeting and focal point.

The second card idea features two different size rectangular shapes. The patterned paper pieces measure 2-1/2 x 1-3/4 inches. The embossed white cardstock pieces measure 2-1/4 x 1-3/4 inches. Arrange the pieces on a 5-1/4 x 4 inch piece of cardstock and adhere to a card base. Then simply create your focal point!
