Let’s talk about the five NEW 2024-2026 Stampin’ Up! In Colors! Not only will I give you a sneak peek of the new colors, but I will also share a variety of different card ideas with you. These 5 new colors launch in May 2024 along with the new Stampin’ Up! Annual catalog! Super fun!
In Color Collection
First let’s talk about these fabulous NEW colors! The 2024-2026 In Color Collection includes 5 new colors: Petunia Pop, Pretty in Pink, Peach Pie, Summer Splash and Shy Shamrock!
I thought I would start out by showcasing how well these colors work together! The first card features all 5 In Colors stamped across a 3-3/4 x 5 inch piece of white cardstock. The greeting and die cut shapes featured on the card come from the Wanted to Say Dies. The little splotch images come from the online exclusive stamp set called Of Art and Texture. It’s just a fun and simple way to showcase the new colors on a card!
The second card idea features 5 strips of cardstock cut to 3/4 x 3-1/2 inches. Each strip of cardstock, of course, showcases the 5 NEW colors! Simply emboss the cardstock piece with one of the Fun Pattern embossing folders or your favorite embossing folder. This particular card layout can be used with ANY colors or even patterned papers!
New Colors New Products
It’s always fun to play with NEW colors and NEW products at the same time! These next couple of card ideas feature a fun new bundle of products from the 2024-2025 annual catalog which launches in May 2024.
The first card idea features a few of the die cut shapes from a new suite of products called Unbounded Love. I simply cut the rectangular frames in each of the 5 In Colors and arranged them on an embossed card front. Super simple card idea!
The second card idea features a bit of weaving with some of the In Color Designer Series Paper. Each of the strips of DSP are 3/8 x 6 inches. They are woven into a 3-1/2 x 4-3/4 inch piece of white cardstock. However, you need to make 6 vertical cuts on the white cardstock in order to accomplish the weaving. Make the cuts 2-3/4 or 3 inches long. I create 2-3/4 inch long cuts but 3 inches would have made the weaving process a little easier. Start about 1/2 inch in, from the left side of the white cardstock, and create the first cut. Then create the subsequent cuts across the white cardstock every 3/4 inches. I recommend watching the video for additional information and to see the weaving process in action!
