It’s World Card Making Day! Let’s celebrate with 6 different card ideas featuring products from the All About Autumn Suite from Stampin’ Up! I thought it would be fun to showcase a few different card ideas and templates such as a 3-card One Sheet Wonder, a Window Card within a Card and a Fun Fold card. 3-Card One Sheet Wonder
First let’s talk about the One Sheet Wonder template! This is a 3-card template for a 6 x 6 inch piece of patterned paper. I call it my 3, 2, 1 template because you start out by cutting the paper, vertically, into 3-inch, 2-inch and 1-inch strips. Once you have the strips cut, then you can follow the template to cut the remainder of the pieces. Be sure to download the free tutorial, below, to get the template and all the details on these cards.
The All About Autumn Designer Series Paper is absolutely beautiful! And, of course, this One Sheet Wonder really shows off the pretty papers nicely! It has been out of stock but is expected to return this week! Yay! However, keep in mind that you can use this One Sheet Wonder template with ANY patterned paper or supplies you have on hand.
Window Card with a Card
The next card idea features a fun window design. But there is a little surprise with this design! When you open up the card front, with the window, you will find another card on the inside! It’s a card within a card! The front of the card, on the inside, shows through the window on the front of the standard sized card. Check out the side view of this card!
For this card, I decided to use the 2-3/4 x 2-3/4 inch square from the Stylish Shapes dies to create the window on the front of this Early Espresso card base. However, you can use any shape to create the window on the card front.
The inside card is simply a 5 x 7-1/2 inch piece of Very Vanilla cardstock. Score the 7-1/2 inch side at 3-3/4 inches to create the smaller card for the inside of the standard card. You can get additional details and measurements in the tutorial.
The last card idea is a great layout for using up that 2-3/4 x 2-3/4 inch square shape left over from creating the window card. I love to use up my scraps right away so I thought you would enjoy this card idea too!
Fun Fold Easel Card
The last All About Autumn card idea is a fun fold easel card! I love a good fun fold card especially when it’s easy to create! Easel cards are one of my favorites because although they are three-dimensional, they fold flat for mailing.
The first picture simply showcases how the card looks when it is not in the easel position. It looks just like a normal standard size card. But when you open it up and rest the card front in the easel position, it becomes three dimensional. Super fun!

My granddaughter has a employee in her store that is in the dark world and she just got engaged. She ask me to make several cards to fit her style. Do you have any ideas for me. Her wedding colors are black, burgundy and turquoise. Her engagement ring is a black diamond and came in a coffin. Any suggestions?
