Today I have a variety of card ideas to share which feature products from the Masterfully Made Suite from Stampin’ Up! Last week I shared a fun and simple technique called Stamp Kissing. These cards will build on that technique and give you even more fun ways to use it in your card making.
One-Color Stamp Kissing
Let’s start out talking about the stamp kissing technique. Basically, this technique involves transferring the pattern from one stamp image to another by “kissing” the stamps. Simply ink up a very detailed image, like the Timeless Tiles, then take a solid image and stamp it onto the inked up Timeless Tiles image. The tiles and ink will transfer over to the solid image. Once that happens, simply stamp the solid image on your project.

For these cards, I used the Timeless Tiles background stamp to provide the detail. The solid image, which is stamped directly on the tiles, came from the Artistically Inked stamp set. The technique with these two stamps creates a beautifully detailed back drop for these cards. You can get all the details and see the one-color stamp kissing technique in action HERE.

Two-Color Technique
You can easily take the stamp kissing technique up a notch by using two ink colors. Simply ink up the main, solid image, with a light color ink. Take a more detailed image and ink it up with a darker color. Stamp the image with the darker color onto the stamp with the lighter color ink and then stamp the kissed image on your project.

The stamp kissing on these cards feature the large solid leaves image from the Gorgeously Made stamp set. Ink up the leaves with Fresh Freesia ink. Take a different detailed image from the set, ink it up with Night of Navy or Pretty Peacock, and stamp the detailed image onto the Fresh Freesia leaves. Notice how the leaves have a light purple background with a dark colored design. This is two-color stamp kissing!
