Today I have variety of card ideas to share featuring the January 2023 Paper Pumpkin Kit called Key to My Heart. The kit contains all the materials you need to create 9 love-themed cards. However, you can use the kit materials and the exclusive stamp set to create even more cards!
Paper Pumpkin Kit
The January 2023 Paper Pumpkin kit contains all the supplies you need to create 9 cards; 3 of each of the 3 different designs. Here are the card designs you can create with the kit.
Each Paper Pumpkin kit includes an exclusive stamp set, an ink spot and a variety of supplies to create the projects. The stamp set in the January 2023 Paper Pumpkin kit features a variety of different images you can use to make the kit projects and, of course, use for additional card making.
Kit Supplies
First let’s talk about some fun ways to use the materials and supplies from the January 2023 Paper Pumpkin kit. The kit contains three different types of card bases. Two of the card bases feature a gold embossed image. The other card base is a window style card. After creating each of the 3 different designs from the kit, I modified the remain supplies and card bases to create even more cards. These first 4 cards are simply a modification of the cards in the kit.
With just a few slight modifications to the design of the cards, you can create a whole new look. Notice the designer paper in the background of the purple cards? I created my own patterned paper by cutting up the coordinating envelopes which came in the kit. If you cut apart the 9 envelopes, you make a bunch of extra cards with the supplies and exclusive stamp set in the kit. Be sure to watch the video below to get all the details on how to cut apart the envelopes.
The next two cards are simply a modification of the card designs in the kit. You can use the supplies to create different layouts on the card bases.
Alternative Designs
The last couple of card ideas feature the use of kit supplies, the patterned paper from the envelopes and a few of my own supplies. The purple key patterned paper is the design on the envelopes from the kit. The other patterned paper came from the Butterfly Kisses Designer Series Paper. These are fun and simple card layouts you can really use with any supplies you have on hand.
The first card features a 2 x 5-1/2 inch and a 1-3/4 x 4-1/2 inch piece of patterned paper. The second card is a design I have shared many times. It’s a great way to use up scrap paper. Simply cut 6 pieces of patterned paper at 3/4 x 3 inches and adhere them to the card front as shown. One you create the background, then add a focal point! In this case, the locks made a fabulous focal point for each of the cards.
The last two card ideas feature the same focal point which was created with one of the images from the exclusive stamp set in the kit. I recommend watching the video to see the creation of some of these cards in action.

As you can see, there are a variety of different things you can create with the stamp set and materials in each Paper Pumpkin kit!
