Today I have a One Sheet Wonder idea to share with you which features the beautiful Favored Flowers Designer Series Paper (DSP). I will show you how to cut out all the flowers from a 12 x 12 inch piece of this DSP and use them to create 14 cards! This is a two-part series which means I have 7 card ideas to share now. The other 7 cards ideas will be shared on Sunday. The cards also feature the Fragrant Flowers Bundle from Stampin’ Up!
Large Favored Flowers
First let’s talk about the Favored Flowers Designer Series Paper (DSP). This is a 12 x 12 inch paper pack which features full florals on one side of each sheet and basic geometric patterns in solid colors on the other side. For this One Sheet Wonder, I cut up an entire sheet of flowers using the Fragrant Flowers Dies. Yes, you can die cut all the flowers from the DSP! Wahoo! And I cut out everything, including all the partial florals on the sides of the 12 x 12 inch piece of patterned paper. There are enough flowers on one sheet of DSP that you can create 7 cards use the purple florals and 7 cards using the pink/calypso florals.
The first couple of cards feature the large florals cut from the DSP. You are able to cut out 3 full florals to create all 3 of these cards. The card layouts are very simple and compliment the large floral nicely. Be sure to download the tutorial below for all the measurements and details on these cards.
Edge Flowers
The next set of cards showcase some fun ways to use the florals that are on the edge of the DSP. Yes, you can use those cut off florals to create some beautiful cards! You can use the Fragrant Flowers dies to cut out the florals on the side of the DSP too.
I love to use the flowers on the edge of DSP to decorate the inside of the cards as well as the outside. So be sure to cut out every flower on that 12 x 12 inch piece of DSP because you can use them all! This week’s tutorial includes the measurements for these cards as well.
Small Flowers
The last couple of cards feature the small flowers from the Favored Flowers DSP. I really love the look of these little florals tucked behind the greeting on these cards. Now you can probably make 9 cards if you only use one of these small flowers on each card (instead of two). All the card layouts feature some of the other patterned papers in the Favored Flowers DSP pack. So you can cut the florals from one sheet and then use the other sheets to create the layouts.
