Today I have a variety of different holiday card ideas to share which feature the Cottage Wreaths Bundle from Stampin’ Up! The cards were inspired by the Fancy Card Design card I shared with you last week. If you missed the Fancy Card Design and tutorial, you can check it out HERE. This particular bundle is perfect for creating holiday and all occasion cards. It’s such a versatile set!

Cottage Wreaths

First let’s talk about the Cottage Wreaths Bundle. The bundle includes the Cottage Wreaths stamp set and the Country Wreaths Dies. There are so many different cards you can create with this bundle. However, for today, I am focusing on holiday cards. The cards feature two different ways to create the wreath. For the Christmas cards, the wreaths are stamped and cut out with the coordinating Country Wreath Die. For the Thanksgiving or Autumn Themed cards, the wreath is features two layering dies from the Country Wreath die set. Both are fun ways to create the wreath!

The cards feature the exact same layout. I love to showcase the same design with different products and/or colors. To create this layout, start with a standard card base. Tear about an inch off the right side of the card front and then adhere that torn piece to the left side of the card front. It gives the card a fun texture. Cut a 1-1/2 x 5-1/2 inch piece of cardstock and emboss it with the Quatrefoil Tile embossing folder. Adhere the embossed cardstock to the right side of the inside of the card. Then simply decorate the card with your favorite Cottage Wreath.

Simple Layering

The next two Cottage Wreaths cards feature some simple layering. The background cardstock piece measure 3-3/4 x 3-1/2 inches; adhere to the center of the card front. To create the focal point, cut a 3 x 4 inch piece of white cardstock and emboss it with the Quatrefoil Tile embossing folder. Cut a 3-1/4 x 4-1/4 inch piece of cardstock and adhere it behind the embossed white cardstock.

You can decorate the focal point with any style wreath and a little greeting. It’s a super simple and very versatile card layout. It’s so easy to re-use this layout to create cards for any occasion. And, of course, you can use any supplies you have on hand with this card layout.

Gingham Cottage

The last two designs feature a bit of the Gingham Cottage Designer Series Paper on an embossed background. Another super simple card layout idea using minimal supplies! Start with a standard card base. Cut a 4 x 5-1/4 inch piece of white cardstock and emboss it with the Quatrefoil Tile embossing folder. Cut a 1 x 4 inch piece of patterned paper and adhere it across the card front. Use the largest Stylish Shapes die to create the square in the center of the card.

Decorate the white square shape with stamped or die cut images. For the finishing touch, add a greeting and a few rhinestones. So simple but absolutely gorgeous with these Cottage Wreaths!
