Today I have a variety of different anniversary card ideas to share featuring the Rings of Love Designer Series Paper from Stampin’ Up! The paper coordinates with the Ringed with Nature Bundle which has a variety of different die cut shapes and stamp images you can use to decorate your cards. However, keep in mind you can use these card layouts with any supplies you have on hand. Just get creative with it!
Rings of Love
First let’s talk about the Rings of Love Designer Series Paper (DSP). This is one of the many different products you can get for free with a qualifying purchase during Saleabration. It’s a beautiful pack of patterned paper with lots of possibilities! Although I have to admit that I was not too excited about when I first saw it the catalog. However, that all changed when I was able to get my hands on some and play with it!

There are lots of different patterns in this DSP pack but I was immediately drawn to the birds and branches. I love the Night of Navy and Soft Suede colors together. The first card features a 1-1/2 x 5 inch piece of cardstock with a 2 x 4-1/2 inch piece of DSP. The second card features a 3-1/4 x 3-3/4 inch piece of cardstock with a 2-1/2 x 4-1/4 inch piece of DSP as the overlay. Both cards showcase the tree slice elements created with the Rings of Nature Bundle.
Using Up Scraps
Of course, each time I play around with a new pack of patterned paper, I always end up with a few scraps. Many of my scraps are used to decorate the inside of my cards. However, I do like to use them up by creating a colorful background for my cards. The first card uses up little scraps of cardstock to create all the elements for the card. The background features a 4 x 4 inch piece of DSP on the top. The bottom of the card front is a great place for adding a greeting on a 1 x 4 inch piece of white cardstock.

The second card showcases a great way to use up your small scrap pieces of patterned papers. Start with a 4 x 5-1/4 inch piece of white cardstock. On the left side of the card, the top and bottom scrap pieces are 2 x 1-3/4 inches. The middle piece is 2 x 1-1/4 inches. On the right side of the card, simply add a 1-3/4 x 5 inch piece of a different patterned paper. Decorate as desired.
Medallion Card Ideas
The last set of cards feature the beautiful medallion patterned papers in the Rings of Love DSP pack. The first card design is a great way to show off your patterned paper. It would work well with the bird pattern as well. Cut a 3 x 4 inch piece of DSP and adhere it to a 3-1/4 x 4-1/4 inch piece of Mint Macron cardstock. Adhere to the center of the card front and decorate as desired.

The second card feature one of the large medallions as the focal point of the card. Start by cutting a 4 x 5-1/4 inch piece of white cardstock. Emboss it with your favorite embossing folder and adhere it to the card front. Cut a 3 x 4 inch piece of vellum and adhere it to the center of the embossed cardstock. Cut out one of the medallions from a piece of the Rings of Love DSP and adhere to the card front with dimensionals.
