Last week I shared a fun way to stamp a One Sheet Wonder to create 4 cards with the beautiful Dahlia Days stamp set. Today I have another One Sheet Wonder idea for you. This time I will share an easy way to stamp a one sheet wonder template to create 8 beautiful cards.
The cards feature the Dahlia Days stamp set and the 2022-2024 In Color Collection! However, keep in mind you can use any stamp set and any colors you have on hand to create your own one sheet wonder design.
One Sheet Wonder Template
First let’s talk about creating the template. Start with an 8-1/2 x 11 inch piece of white cardstock. On the 8-1/2 inch side, make a tick mark on the top and bottom of the cardstock, with a pencil, at 4-1/4 inches. Lightly draw a line from the top tick mark to the bottom tick mark using the pencil. Turn the cardstock to the 11 inch side, make a tick mark on the top and bottom of the cardstock, with a pencil, at 2-3/4, 5-1/2 and 8-1/4 inches. Lightly draw a line from each of the top tick marks to the bottom tick marks using the pencil.
Randomly stamp a variety of different images across the white cardstock. Use different colors and different images to fill in the space around the pencil lines you created.
Once you have all the images stamped, you are ready to cut the cardstock. Start by cutting the 8-1/2 inch side in half at 4-1/4 inches. This will create two 4-1/4 x 11 inch pieces. Take each of the two 11 inch long pieces and cut them at 2-3/4, 5-1/2 and 8-1/4 inches. You will end up with a total of 8 pieces of stamped cardstock measuring 2-3/4 x 4-1/4 inches.
Dahlia Days Card Ideas
Now that you have stamped and cut the cardstock, we are ready to assemble the 8 cards. Adhere each 2-3/4 x 4-1/4 inch pieces of stamped white cardstock to a card base. You can use these designs in either landscape or portrait style.
You can create a little shape for your greeting or simply stamp the greeting directly on the white cardstock. Add a bit of twine and a few pearls for the finishing touch. And that’s it! You just created 8 beautiful cards! It’s that simple!
