Learn how to make two easy window card designs and then use the left-over scraps to create 3 additional cards. The cards feature the Stampin’ Up! Daffodil Daydream Bundle. However, keep in mind you can use any supplies you have on hand to create these cards. Just get creative with it!
Window Card
The concept for creating a window card is pretty simple. Choose a die set with a shape that you can use to cut into the front of the card. For these cards I am using the Layering Circle Dies but you can use any shape to create the window. The next step is to have an idea on how you want to decorate the card. If you plan to use patterned paper, you want to adhere it to the card front BEFORE creating the window. This will make it so much easier as you will not have to cut a separate circle into both the card front and the patterned paper. Most dies are able to cut through two layers of paper at the same time.

So for the first card, adhere a 4 x 5-1/4 inch piece of patterned paper to the card front. Use a 2-1/2 inch circle die to cut the window through the patterned paper and front of the card. The left-over circle shape from creating the window has two potential uses.

First, you can use it to guide the placement of the stamped image on the inside of the card so it shows through the window on the front of the card. Be sure to watch the video for a few tips and tricks with this. The second thing you can do with the left-over circle is to create another card! Check out the tutorial below for all the details.
Using Up Scraps
The second window card idea features a great way to use up scraps strips of paper. Each of the patterned paper strips measure 3/4 x 5-1/4 inches. Choose different patterns for each of the 5 pieces. Adhere them across the card front from right to left and then create the window with the circle die.

Stamp the flowers on the inside of the card and color them in with your favorite coloring tools. Of course, you can create another beautiful card using the left-over circle shape from cutting the window. The second card is my absolute favorite scrappy card. I love the different patterns of paper on the circle shape. They all work well with the spray of daffodils.
Daffodil Daydream
The cards feature the Daffodil Daydream Bundle and some of the Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper. However, keep in mind you can really use these card layouts with any supplies you have on hand.
