Looking for ways to use up your paper stash? Then you are gonna love this Five Sheet Wonder card making template. Yes, you can put 5 sheets of 12 x 12 inch patterned paper to good use with this 18 card template. The cards feature the use of two different templates for cutting your patterned paper. And the best part is…you will not have any leftover scraps!
Five Sheet Wonder Cards
The Five Sheet Wonder card making templates will make it so easy for you to create 18 beautiful cards! You can make the cards in landscape or portrait style (see pics below). You can also mix and match the DSP to add variety to your card making. I actually made all 18 cards exactly the same.
The concept for this cutting technique involves the use of two different cutting templates for 12 x 12 inch sheets of patterned paper. You will use one template to cut 3 pieces of patterned paper. The second template will be used to cut 2 pieces of patterned paper.
Start by choosing 3 sheets of 12 x 12 inch patterned paper which have a small pattern. A small pattern is preferable as these papers will be the backdrop for the card. Next. choose 2 sheets of patterned paper that have a bolder pattern. A bold pattern is preferable as this paper will be cut into triangular shapes to accent the card. Stamp a little sentiment in the center of a doily to create the focal point for the card. I highly recommend watching the video to see the Five Sheet Wonder in action!
Tutorial and Supplies
The cards feature the Daffodil Afternoon Designer Series Paper (DSP). For more more fun ways to use up your paper stash, check out my 6-card One Sheet Wonder cutting template HERE. Of course you don’t have to limit yourself to just using the Daffodil Afternoon DSP as the Five Sheet Wonder templates will work with any patterned papers and supplies you have on hand.
