Today I have 6 simple card ideas to share with you which feature products from the new Stampin’ Up! All Together Collection. This collection includes a stamp set, dies, designer paper and 10 new natural tone stampin’ blends! If you have not seen the blends yet, you can view them HERE. It’s a fabulous collection which is perfect for creating friendship cards.
Simple Card Layouts
The first couple of cards feature a fun way to use your stamp images to create a little backdrop on your card. I love using my stamps in this way. Simply ink up your image using the same color ink as the cardstock. In this case, I am using Coastal Cabana ink with my Coastal Cabana card base. Using the same color ink as the card base gives the stamped images a more subtle look in the background.
The first card features the use of the little heart-shaped stamp. Start by creating the main focal point of the card. Cut a 4-1/4 x 3 inch piece of one of the All Together Designer Series Paper (DSP) patterns. Color in the hand images using the different Natural Tones Stampin’ Blends. Next, cut a 1/2 x 4-1/4 inch piece of the heart DSP. Adhere the DSP to the card front as shown. Stamp a few heart-shaped images above and below the DSP and embellish as desired.
The second card idea features the use of two different greetings or sentiments in the background. Adhere both stamp images to the same block, ink them up with Coastal Cabana ink and stamp them across the card front until the entire piece is covered. Cut a 3-3/4 x 2-1/2 inch piece of the black checkered DSP and adhere to the card front. Next, cut a 3-1/2 x 2-1/2 inch piece of white cardstock. Stamp and color a few images on the white cardstock, as shown, and adhere to the card with a few dimensionals.
Although the card feature products from the All Together Collection, the layouts can really be used with any supplies you may have on hand. Yes, you can use card layouts over and over again. Shop for these and other fun papercrafting products HERE.
All Together DSP
The All Together Designer Series Paper has a variety of black and white patterns. There are so many fun things you can do with it! Besides coloring the images with the stampin’ blends, you can also add color to the paper with your blending brushes.
I decided to blend Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight and Coastal Cabana together to create some colorful pieces of DSP. And then I cut up the DSP to create all these cards! The cards were super simple to create. Be sure to watch the video to learn more.
