Wanna make 6 cards fast? Learn how to use this 6-card One Sheet Wonder template to create a variety of cards quick and for any occasion. The cards feature the Daffodil Afternoon Designer Series Paper (DSP) pack. However, you can use this template with any patterned paper or supplies you have on hand.
One Sheet Wonder Template
First let’s talk about the One Sheet Wonder template. The cards feature the use of a 12 x 12 inch piece of the Daffodil Afternoon Designer Series Paper. However, this template will work with any 12 x 12 inch sheets of patterned paper you have on hand.
Start by cutting the paper in half so you end up with two halves measuring 6 x 12 inches. I cut this piece of DSP in half across the “white space.” Next, cut down the 6 x 12 inch pieces so you end up with a total of 6 pieces measuring 4 x 6 inches. The pieces will be slightly larger than a standard card front.
Daffodil Afternoon Cards
Now that we have cut the 12 x 12 inch piece of patterned paper, we are ready to add a fun little border to the top of each piece. Using one of the basic borders dies, lay it across the DSP, about an inch from the top, and run it through your embossing machine. The die will cut a fun little edging into the top of the DSP. Next, take each piece and cut 3/4 inches off the bottom. The piece should now fit onto a standard card front.
Next, cut 6 pieces of the polka dot DSP patterned paper at 1 x 4 inches. Adhere one piece to the top of the card front on each of the 6 cards. Next, adhere the die cut DSP to the card front so it overlaps onto the polka dot piece. Cut a 1/2 x 4 inch piece of the polka dot DSP. Stamp a greeting on it using Mossy Meadow ink and adhere to the card front as shown. Then simply decorate as desired.
