Gifts Galore Card Ideas – November 2021 Paper Pumpkin Kit

Today I have a variety of different card ideas to share which feature the November 2021 Paper Pumpkin kit called Gifts Galore. This kit contained all the materials you need to create 9 treat boxes. However, I decided to create a few cards as well to showcase some of the fun ways to use the exclusive stamp set and die cut shapes from the kit.

Gifts Galore Card Ideas

The November 2021 Paper Pumpkin kit is called Gifts Galore. The kit contains all of the materials to create 9 adorable treat boxes; 3 of each of the 3 different designs. I created 8 of the treat boxes and saved one to create a few cards.

Each Paper Pumpkin kit includes an exclusive stamp set, an ink spot and a variety of supplies to create the projects. The stamp set in this month’s kit features 9 different images you can use on the kit projects and for card making. The ink spot included in this month’s kit featured Flirty Flamingo.

Gifts Galore Card Ideas

First, I decided to cut apart one of the treat boxes, with the presents, to create some fun and simple cards. There are 9 treat boxes so if you want to cut them all apart, you will be able to make lots of fun and simple cards! The large cluster of presents is very easy to cut apart. Simply cut on the white lines in between all of the presents. Then use those present as embellishments on your cards.

For the first card, start with a standard white card base. Cut a 4 x 5-1/4 inch piece of Poppy Parade cardstock and a 3-3/4 x 5 inch piece of white cardstock. Emboss the white cardstock with your favorite embossing folder. Arrange the presents on the card front. Add a bit of torn paper and a 1 x 3-3/4 inch piece of DSP and a greeting. That’s it! The second card is the same concept, just a different layout. Emboss the card front with your favorite embossing folder. Cut a 1-1/2 x 4-1/4 inch piece of DSP and a 1/2 x 4-1/4 inch piece of Poppy Parade cardstock and adhere to the left side of the card front. Add the presents and a little greeting to finish it off!

More Fun Kit Cards

Now I happened to receive an extra tree shape in my kit. The tree shape was a bit too large to fit on a standard 5-1/2 x 4-1/4 inch card front. So, I simply adhered it to the card on angle and trimmed off the excess. It makes a quick and simple card idea!

The second card features presents created with one of the stamp images in the kit. You can stamp the presents using any colors. I decided to stick with Flirty Flamingo and Pool Party ink colors as they coordinate with the colors in the kit. Arrange the presents on an embossed 4 x 5-1/4 inch piece of white cardstock and add a greeting. Of course I added a bit of torn paper too!

Whimsy & Wonder Suite

You can also combine the kit supplies with the products in the Whimsy & Wonder Suite from Stampin’ Up! Everything coordinates perfectly! Since I cut apart one of the treat boxes to create some of these cards, I ended up with an extra snowflake patterned treat bag. And, when you cut apart the treat bag, it works perfect for creating shaker cards! Be sure to watch the video to see the “how to” behind this shaker card.

The last card ideas features a little Whimsy & Wonder tree image and the remains presents which were left over from cutting apart one of the treat boxes. All in all, you can create 8 cards by cutting up two of the present shapes that make up a treat box. Cool, hey?

Supplies

As you can see, there are a variety of different things you can create with the stamp set and materials in each kit! However, you must subscribe to the program by the 10th of each month in order to receive that month’s kit. Once the deadline passes, the kits are no longer available. So I highly recommend becoming a subscriber so you don’t miss out on the fun! Learn more about the monthly Paper Pumpkin kit program HERE. Check out some of the past paper pumpkin kits HERE.
