Today I have an easy treat box idea to share which was inspired by Mary Schultz during one of our team meetings. You can actually make two of these treat boxes from one acetate card box!
The treat boxes feature the Cutest Halloween Bundle from Stampin’ Up! and a variety of products from the July-December 2021 Stampin’ Up! Mini Catalog. However, keep in mind you can use any supplies you have on hand to create these treat holders.
Acetate Boxes
These Halloween Treat Boxes feature the use of an acetate card box cut in half. So yes, you can make two treat holders from one acetate box! WooHoo! The acetate boxes, from Stampin’ Up!, come in a pack of 10. You can shop for the boxes and other fun crafting supplies HERE. Simply place the acetate box in your paper trimmer at the 2-7/8 inch mark to cut the box in half. Be sure to measure from the end of the box! Watch the video to learn more.
Once you have cut the treat box, you are ready to decorate it! Cut a 4-3/8 x 5 inch piece of patterned paper. Score down the 5 inch side at 3 and 3-5/8 inches. Slide the patterned paper into the treat box and decorate as desired! Easy peasy! You can grab the full tutorial below.
