Seasons Blessings – Easy Pop Up Fun Fold Card

Today I have an easy fun fold pop up card idea to share which was inspired by a card I received from my good friend Linda Anderson. The cards feature the Season’s Blessing Bundle from Stampin’ Up! and a variety of products from the July-December 2021 Stampin’ Up! Mini Catalog. However, keep in mind you can use any supplies you have on hand to create these cards.

Autumn Card Idea

First let’s talk about the card design and measurements. The card base is created with a 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 inch piece of cardstock. So this means you can actually make two of these cards from one 8-1/2 x 11 inch sheet of card stock! Pretty cool, hey? Once you have your card base cut, score the 8-1/2 inch side at 1-7/8, 3, 5-1/2 and 6-5/8 inches. Fold on all the score lines so that the center of the card pops up. I recommend watching the video to see the folding process in action.

Now we are ready to decorate the card. Cut two pieces of the Blackberry Beauty Designer Series Paper (DSP) at 1-5/8 x 5-1/4 inches. Adhere these pieces to the outer flaps of the card. Next, cut a 2 x 5 inch piece of white cardstock and a 2-1/4 x 5-1/4 inch piece of Blackberry Bliss (or Rich Razzleberry cardstock). Adhere these two pieces together and then adhere to the center of the card. Then simply decorate as desired!

Christmas Card Idea

One of my favorite things about the Seasons Blessings Bundle is that you can create a cards for different occasions. The first card features an autumn theme while this second card features a Christmas theme. The stamp images, in the Seasons Blessings set, can be used to create cards for a variety of occasions. I love when Stampin’ Up! gives us the ability to use a stamp set for more than just one occasion.

The measurements for creating the Christmas card are the same as those used for the Autumn card. The only difference between the two cards are the supplies I used to create them. The Christmas card features some of the Heartwarming Hugs DSP and the poinsettia images from the stamp set.
