This weekend I have been playing around with one of my favorite bundles called Plentiful Plants! It’s part of the Bloom Where You Are Planted Suite, from Stampin’ Up!, which has a variety of super cool coordinating products. So today I have two easy angle cards to share that I think you are gonna love! Plus you will get a sneak peek into this month’s tutorial featuring these products.
Angle Card Design
First let’s talk about the angle card design. Yes, it really is easy to create! The best part about this angle card design is that you can create two cards from one piece of patterned paper! Start with a 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 inch piece of one of the brick patterns from the Bloom Where You Are Planted Designer Series Paper (DSP). Lay the DSP in your paper trimmer on an angle. Line up the top right corner of the DSP on the 3-1/2 inch line (to the left of the cutting track). Then line up the bottom left corner of the DSP on the 3/4 inch line (to the right of the cutting track). Cut the paper to create a large and small angled piece of the brick patterned DSP. That’s it!
Now that you have created the two angled pieces, you are ready to create the cards. The first card features the large angled DSP pattern and the second card features the small angled DSP pattern. You can decorate your cards with any of the beautiful plant images from the DSP. Some of the images you must cut out by hand with a scissors while others work with the Perfect Plants Dies. Super fun and so many possibilities!
