Father’s Day is right around the corner! So today I am featuring 3 different easy card layouts using the stamp set called A Good Man. The card layouts actually feature a variety of different ways to create a background for your card using the exact same focal point! So you that means you can create a completely different look without changing all of the elements on the card.
Background Ideas
The first card idea features a variety of greeting and sentiments from the A Good Man stamp set in the background of the card. This is such a fun and easy way to create a back drop for the focal point of the card. You can stamp each greeting or sentiment individually on the card or use the Stamparatus to position them perfectly.
If you decide to use the Stamparatus, or any other stamp positioning tool, you can lay the stamps on the cardstock as shown. I recommend also laying the focal point on the cardstock so you can arrange the words around them. Be sure to watch this week’s video to see the Stamparatus in action!
Texture and Layers
The next two card ideas feature the exact same focal point with completely different layouts. The first card showcases the use of patterned paper to create a simple back drop for the card.
The second card features the exact same focal point surrounded by lots of layers and texture! The card front is embossed with the Painted Texture 3D embossing folder. The focal point is layered upon a variety of different rectangular shapes. And, of course, a bit of textured patterned paper adhered across the center. It’s a fun card idea if you love to add lots of layers and texture to your cards.
A Good Man
The cards in this video feature the Stampin’ Up! stamp set called A Good Man. However, keep in mind you can use these card designs with ANY supplies you have on hand. More more masculine themed card ideas, check out some of my other card design ideas HERE.
