Looking for some easy fun fold cards to make? Well, you are in luck! Today I have an easy fun fold card design to share as well as two different ways you can use this design in your card making. The cards feature the Stampin’ Up! Flowering Cactus Product Medley. However, keep in mind you can use this card design with ANY supplies you have on hand. And you can make it for any occasion. Just get creative with it!
Easy Fun Fold Design – Landscape Style
The first way to use this easy fun fold card design is in landscape style. The concept for creating this card is super simple! First, cut a 5-1/2 x 4-1/4 inch piece of cardstock for the base of your card. Cut a 5-1/4 x 4 inch piece of patterned paper and adhere it to the base of the card. Next, let’s create the fun fold section. Cut a 2-3/4 x 8-1/2 inch piece of cardstock. Score the 8-1/2 inch side at 4-1/4 inches and, voila, you have your fun fold section! Adhere the fun fold section to the card base and decorate as desired.
The fun fold section of the card is the part that opens up to reveal a stamped or personalized message. For these cards, I simply decorated them with some of the fun die cut images and other products from the Flowering Cactus Product Medley.
Portrait Style
The second way to use this easy fun fold design is in portrait style. You can easily change the look of any card simply by changing the orientation. The measurements for creating the fun fold section of the portrait style card are exactly the same as the landscape style. The only difference is that you will have to make some adjustments to the patterned paper used to decorate the fun fold section.
