It’s time for some Birthday Card Making! So put away the holiday card making supplies and get ready for some fun birthday card making ideas! The beginning of a new year is a great time to start planning for those special birthday celebration. So today I have 4 quick and easy card layouts to help you get started! Plus, you can really use ANY supplies you have on hand to create these birthday cards.
Easy Card Layouts
One of the fun things about these birthday card layouts is that you can easily use them with any patterned paper, stamp set and supplies you have on hand. This opens up so many possibilities for you to use these layouts over and over again in your card making.
These first two card layouts are perfect for using up scraps! I often end up with a variety of 1 or 3/4 inch wide pieces of patterned paper. I have found that these pieces work well for decorating both the inside and outside of my cards.
The last two card layouts feature a great way to showcase your pretty patterned papers! The embellishments are the key elements that really dress up these easy card layouts. The little daisies were actually cut from a piece of the NEW Flowers & Fields DSP. Cutting out the images, by hand, from your designer series paper is a great way to create embellishments for your cards. Be sure to download the free printable tutorial so you have a list of all of the measurements for these easy layouts. Then grab your stash of pretty patterned paper and start making some birthday cards today!
