Today I am giving you a little sneak peek into the NEW Dragonfly Garden Bundle from Stampin’ Up! As a demonstrator, I was able to get my hands on this bundle early as it was showcased during the Stampin’ Up! OnStage at Home event this weekend. It was such a fabulous event! I love that I was able to stamp together with others even though we are miles apart. This fabulous new bundle of products will be coming out in the Stampin’ Up! 2021 January-June Mini Catalog. The new catalog is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! Wanna get your hand on the new catalog? You can request one HERE.
OnStage at Home
One of my favorite things about being a demonstrator is the ability to see and play with NEW products before a new catalog goes live! The Stampin’ Up! OnStage event is the place to be when it comes to the unveiling of new products and the catalogs. And this weekend, that’s exactly where I was! Playing with new products, viewing the catalog, learning new techniques and winning prizes!! Sounds like an awesome day, right? Learn more about this opportunity HERE so you can join us in the fun at the next event!
Now the first couple of card ideas were inspired by the presentations at Stampin’ Up! OnStage. And there are a variety of fun new products on these cards. New braided trim, gorgeous designer paper, awesome stamp images and, my favorite, are the little lady bug embellishments! Glue dots work perfect for adhering those little lady bugs!
I am immediately drawn to stamp sets and products which depict nature. They have a calming and peaceful effect in real life and the same is true when I use them to create. Besides all of the fun NEW products, I drew inspiration from the layout of these cards. Remember, you can use card layouts over and over again with any supplies you have on hand. I can already envision how to use these layouts with other products I have on hand.
Dragonfly Garden Bundle
Are you getting excited yet? I hope so! I have a few class ideas I am working on with this particular bundle. So let’s talk a little bit about the bundle. Remember, bundles typically include a stamp set and some type of tool (punch or dies). This particular bundle comes with the the Dragonfly Garden stamp set and the Dragonflies punch.
The Dragonflies punch actually cuts out two different size dragonflies. Most of the card ideas I am sharing with you today feature the large dragonfly image. You can punch out the large dragonfly image from the stamp set or from the gorgeous designer series paper. Super fun! I love using images from the designer series paper to embellish my cards. The little dragonfly punch shape also makes a great embellishment.
Dragonfly Panel Cards
One of the fun things about attending Stampin’ Up! OnStage at Home is that I am immediately inspired. I was so happy to be able to put that inspiration to work right away as I was sitting at my craft table during the event. Of the 8 cards I am sharing with you today, only 3 were created during the event. However, all of them were the direct result of my excitement for the product suite and the inspiration OnStage at Home provided.
All of the card ideas are very quick and simple to create and many involve using up scraps! I will be sure to include all of the measurements and a complete supply list for these cards as bonus ideas in my January class tutorial! Of course I will have many more ideas to share with you as part of the class.
I hope you enjoyed this sneak peek into the 2021 Stampin’ Up! January – June Mini catalog. A variety of awesome products are coming our way and I can’t wait to share some fun ideas with you! Have a creative day my friends! ~ Lynn
Can you tell me about the gorgeous floral paper used in the background on these cards? DSP?
Currently available? Thank you!
Hi Carolyn, this is a new paper pack called Dragonfly Garden. It will be coming out on January 5, 2021
Does the punch work with the old dragonfly set?
Hi Sara, That is a great question! I just compared the two images and the punch will not work with the image in the Dragonfly Dreams set. That particular image is much larger than the new one
