There’s is a bit of Magic in This Night! It’s the night before our LIVE Halloween event! Wahoo! Tomorrow I am teaming up with my good friend LInda Anderson to share 12 different spooky fun Halloween projects with you! There are 6 Halloween cards and 6 coordinating Treat Holder ideas. The event will be live streamed to my Stamptastic Designs Facebook page and my YouTube channel. We are super excited to share these ideas with you! So today, I have a few sneak peeks to share as well as the printable tutorial so you can prep your supplies and stamp along with us!
Elegant Bats
The first Halloween card and treat holder projects feature the “elegant” bats. Now I never thought that I would ever consider bats “elegant!” However, the bats featured in the Magic In This Night Designer Series Paper and stamp set have such a cool design. Sort of a vintage flair to them. I think that’s why I was immediately drawn to this Halloween product suite.
Now I’m not going to provide you with all of the details for these projects, since I will be demoing them live tomorrow. However, I do want to point out a few things (in case I forget to mention them tomorrow). The bat images featured on these projects were actually cut right from a piece of the Magic In This Night Designer Series Paper! I love when Stampin’ Up! coordinates their die cut images with the stamp set and with the images in the DSP! It makes it so easy to create these awesome embellishments! Super fun!
Spooky Spiders
The next set of Halloween projects that I am sharing feature some of the spooky spider images in the Magic In This Night suite. I am not a fan of spiders at all! However, I know my grandson will love these! So there are a few things that I want to point out about these projects. The card features one of the elegant die cuts in the Halloween Magic Dies. The dies and the Designer Series Paper can be used for more than just Halloween projects! It’s true! I just recently shared a variety of Autumn-Themed cards created with the Magic In This Night Designer Series Paper. You can check them out HERE.
This matchbook treat holder is one of my favorites. It’s quick and simple to create! And yes, it opens and closes just like a matchbook. Except this matchbook has a small package of M&M’s on the inside. Simply staple the pack to the bottom of the treat holder and tuck the front flap under the top part of the stapled section. I highly recommend you join me tomorrow so you can see how fun and easy it is to create this matchbook treat holder.
Fun Fold Card and Treat Holder
The last two Halloween projects I have to share with you tomorrow are fun folds! Both the card and the treat holder involve the use of a variety of fun folds! The card is a double z-fold. This is a MUST so that you have an interactive section for the small bat images.
The coordinating treat holder, which is featured below, was created with a 6 x 6 inch piece of Designer Series Paper. Just a couple of fun folds and, voila, you will have a super cute little treat holder that you can decorate any way you like! So be sure to grab your favorite 6 x 6 inch pieces of DSP for tomorrow!
Magic In This Night Bundle
There are so many fun things that you can create with products from the Magic In This Night suite. I only scratched the surface of what is possible!. Linda Anderson will take you through the other 6 projects which I haven’t even featured in this blog post!
The LIVE Halloween event starts at 10:00am (CT) on Sunday, October 25, 2020. I will be sharing all of the details for these first 6 Halloween projects! Linda Anderson will join us at 1:00pm (CT) to share the other 6 project ideas. If you are unable to join us live, no worries. Both sessions will be recorded and available on my Stamptastic Designs YouTube channel and Facebook page. So you can watch it at your convenience.
For a complete list of supplies and all of the step-by-step instructions for creating these projects, feel free to download the printable tutorial. This tutorial will also help you prep your supplies so you can stamp along with us tomorrow! Have a fun and creative day! ~ Lynn
