So Much Love – 6 Card Ideas and Starter Kit Promotion

This week’s video features 6 cards created with the So Much Love stamp set and a fun way to use your patterned papers. Starter Kit Card Ideas

So the first couple of cards I have to share with you are based upon the card kit from the Stampin’ Up! Get & Go Promotion. In each picture gallery, you will find the card designed by Stampin’ Up! as well as my alternate card idea. All of my alternate ideas showcase the same card design, I simply used some patterned paper instead of cardstock.

You know I love to use card designs over and over again! It’s a lot of fun to substitute products, colors and/or stamp images to give a card design a whole new look! My card ideas feature some of the patterned papers from the Brights Designer Series Paper pack (which is the second card In each in the gallery above and below). These are fun and simple layouts that you can use over and over again!

Now this panel card idea involves randomly stamping the floral image on a 3 x 4 inch piece of cardstock using Misty Moonlight ink. Once you have the images stamped, then cut the cardstock into 1 x 3 inch strips. Space out the panels and adhere to the card front as shown. It gives the card a fun look!

Stamping on Patterned Paper

So besides the two simple card layouts in the starter kit, I have also created two additional layouts. The cards feature some stamping on patterned paper! yes, we will stamp directly on some of the patterned paper from the Brights Designer Series Paper pack. And I have a fun little technique to share for “coloring” in the image with different colors of patterned paper. You can get all of the details for these cards in the video and printable tutorial.
