Today I have a few more card ideas to share featuring the new Stampin’ Up! Have A Hoot Bunde. The bundle includes a stamp set that contains a variety of different images that you can use to create Halloween or Christmas cards. Super fun! The versatility of the stamp set and the card layouts I am sharing today will help you create 12 different cards! Plus you can use the card layouts over and over again with ANY supplies you have on hand. Just get creative with it!
Simple Card Layouts
Now the Halloween cards probably look a bit familiar to you, right? That’s because I just recently shared these adorable little Halloween card ideas with you in a previous blog post. The inspiration for the Christmas card ideas I am sharing with you today came from the versatile images in the Have A Hoot stamp set.
I also thought it would be fun to actually show you how you can use the same card layout to create multiple cards for any occasion. There are 6 different card layouts I am sharing today. Each card layout showcases a Christmas and Halloween idea. The only difference between the cards is the “theme” for which they were created. The Halloween cards showcase the Magic in the Night Designer Series Paper. And the Christmas cards feature the Tis’ the Season Designer Series Paper. Of course the stamped images are different as well since they focus on either Christmas or Halloween.
However, the concept for the creating the card layout is identical. Be sure to grab the free printable tutorial below for all of the measurements and step-by-step instructions for creating these card layouts.
Recycling Your Card Layouts
Now all of these card layouts will work with ANY supplies you have on hand. So don’t just limit yourself to Christmas and Halloween cards. Take a look at the supplies that you currently have. What stamp sets would work well with these layouts? What patterned paper do you have on hand. Once you choose the stamp set and patterned papers you are ready to get busy using these card layouts.
I mean how cute would these card layouts be with birthday themed products? Autumn themed cards would be fun to make with these layouts as well. Think outside the box and play around with some of the supplies you already have on hand.
Of course if you can certainly recreate these cards using the exact same supplies that I used. I mean the Have A Hoot Bundle is absolutely adorable, isn’t it? Plus I provided you with a printable tutorial and video showcasing how to make each of these 6 cards. So feel free to case them for your own personal use!
Have A Hoot Bundle
So let’s talk a little bit about the Have A Hoot Bundle. The bundle includes a stamp set and a die set. The stamp set features 11 different images. Five of the images have a Christmas theme, the other 5 have a Halloween them and one of the images is a greeting that can be used for either. I love the versatility of the stamp set. It’s nice to have ONE stamp set that you can use to create Halloween and Christmas cards.
The second part of the bundle includes the Peek-A-Hoot Die set. And there are 10 different dies in the set which, of course, coordinate with the stamped images. Six of the dies in the set will cut out the little owl images. There are also a few dies, like a cobweb and sprigs, that you can use to create embellishments for the cards. One of my favorite dies in the set is the tag die. This particular dies cuts out 3 different sized tags all at once! Yes, the die creates 3 individual tags!
Besides using the fun tags on your cards, you can also use the die to create some framed out sections on your card front. The last two cards showcase some fun ways to use the negative space left on the cardstock after cutting out the tags. It makes such an awesome little frame that you can easily decorate with the stamped images from the set.
Remember, you can use these card layouts over and over again to create cards for ANY occasion. All 12 of these cards are featured in the video as well as the printable tutorial. 6 Christmas card ideas and 6 Halloween card ideas. So be sure to download the tutorial and then follow along in the video!
