6 Simple Cards Featuring the NEW Forever Greenery Suite

The NEW Stampin Up 2020-2021 Annual catalog will go LIVE on Wednesday, June 3, 2020! So today I am giving you a sneak peek into the Forever Greenery Suite. This is just one of the many amazing new product suites available in the new catalog. The suite features gorgeous colros, designer paper, a distINKtive stamp set, dies and so much more! Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper

So first let’s talk about the new Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper (DSP). I put together a little paper sampler so that you can see all of the beautiful colors and patterns. The little circle shapes feature the 6 different shades of green in the patterned papers. The little squares showcase the paper patterns on the front and back of each sheet of DSP.

Hopefully this little paper sampler gives you an idea of how beautiful this suite is. Now besides the gorgeous papers, the suite also features some specialty papers called Forever Gold. These are gold laser cut accents that are ready for you to use in your card making. They make it so easy to create quick and beautiful cards.

Forever Gold Accents

Now the first couple of card ideas I have to share with you feature the Forever Gold accents. These pre-cut accents make up the focal point of each of the following four cards.

The first card is simple a 2 x 4-1/4 inch piece of the Forever Greenery DSP adhered across the center of a white card base. The greeting is stamped on a 1-1/2 x 2-1/4 inch piece of white cardstock using Soft Sea Foam and Pretty Peacock ink. Then I simply adhered the greeting to one of the large Forever Gold accents and popped it up on the card with a few dimensionals. Easy peasy!

The next two cards also feature one of the large Forever Gold accents. However, I did a little bit of stamping on the white card front prior to adhering the gold. accents. The Forever Fern stamp set has a variety of detailed images (distINKtive) that can be used to add a bit of color and design behind those gold accents. Once you have stamped a few images on the cardstock, adhere the gold foil accent over the top. Then simply add a little greeting to finish off the card.

The last card has a monochromatic look as I only used Soft Sea Foam ink and cardstock. First I did a little bit of stamping on the 5 x 3-3/4 inch piece of white cardstock. Then I added a large Forever Gold accent over the top of the stamping to finish off the card. Simple yet beautiful look!

Forever Gold Backgrounds

These last two cards feature the Forever Gold Laser-cut panels which make fabulous backgrounds for your cards. The Forever Gold Laser Cut Specialty Paper comes with a total of 6 laser cut sheets. Three of the sheets feature these fun backgrounds and the other 3 sheets feature a variety of the little accents I just shared.

For these cards, I started by adhering one of the Forever Gold laser cut panels on the white cardstock. Next, I created a focal point to add over the top of the gold panel. The first card is very similar to one I shared earlier. It features a 2 x 4-1/4 inch piece of patterned paper adhered across the center of a white card front. Yes, it’s adhered directly over the gold panel too. Then I simply created a focal point with a variety of stamped images and foil accents. The focal point for the second card starts with a 2-3/4 x 4 inch piece of white cardstock. I stamped a variety of different images on the cardstock and then added some embellishments.
