The adorable little chick image in the set is a distINKtive stamp. A DistINKtive stamps is deeply etched which means you are able to stamp a detailed and shaded image without any fuss! Just ink up the image and stamp it. That’s it!

Easter Card Ideas

Since Easter is fast approaching, the first set of cards I have to share feature some fun and adorable card ideas. The cards feature Flirty Flamingo, Daffodil Delight and Highland Heather ink colors.

How cute are these little chicks and eggs? The striped image in the Full of Happiness stamp set allow you to add stripes to your eggs! Although this is a two step stamping process, they are very easy to make. Simply stamp the outline of the egg first and then stamp the striped design in the center of the egg. Of course you can use a variety of different colors too! My favorite card features the different colored chicks. Easter is just not Easter without little colored peeps, rights? Haha!

Besides Easter cards, you can also use this stamp set to create some cards for other occasions. This first card gives you an idea of the versatility of this stamp set. It’s a card that was designed to send a bit happiness and help brighten someone’s day. Yes, there are greetings in this set that have nothing to do with Easter.

The layout of the card is simple. Cut a 5-1/4 x 2 inch piece of patterned paper and adhere it to the left side of the card front. Cut out a rectangular shape that is approximately 3 x 4 inches (or use the Stitched So Sweetly Dies). Start by stamping the adorable little chick in the center of the rectangular shape using Daffodil Delight. Stamp the cracked egg image on a scrap piece of white cardstock using Basic Gray ink. Then, instead of stamping the stripe design, stamp a greeting in the center of the egg. Cut out the egg by hand with your scissors or use the Dino Dies. For the finishing touch, embellish the card with a few small blooms.

Baby Card Idea

This last card idea is a quick and simple baby card! It features a 2 x 4-1/4 inch piece of pattern paper across the center of the card. The focal point is simply some layered rectangle shapes with the adorable little chick and egg.

Now my card has been designed to welcome a new baby boy. However, you can easily change the color scheme to pink to welcome a baby girl. And you can even make this card gender neutral by choosing pastel green and yellow colors.

I hope you enjoyed these quick and simple card ideas! You can find the complete list of supplies noted below. Have a fun and creative day my friends! Take care and be safe! ~ Lynn
