Now you can use these card layouts with regular pattern paper or with pattern paper that YOU create by stamping. They are quick and super fun to make! If you love One Sheet Wonder cards, then you are definitely going to enjoy these!

Stamping Your Own Pattern Paper

Stamping your own pattern paper is quite simple. All you need is a stamp set, a few ink colors, and a piece of white cardstock. That’s it! You can use one stamp set or a variety of sets. For the cards I am sharing today, I simply used one stamp set to make my background paper and one set to add the sentiments. There are lots of possibilities so have fun with it!

Now the cool thing about stamping your own pattern paper is that you can create a One Sheet Wonder! Basically, you can cut up your paper so that you use the entire sheet with no leftover scraps! For the 5 cards I am sharing today, that is exactly what I did. I started with a 5-1/4 x 8-1/2 inch piece of white cardstock. I randomly stamped some of the images from the Well Dressed stamp set across the cardstock.

Then, I simply cut up the 5-1/4 x 8-1/2 inch stamped piece of cardstock like this:

Of course, this is just one of many different ways you can cut up the hand stamped pattern paper. The smaller the pieces, the more cards you can create. Just get creative with it!

Masculine Style Cards

Once I cut up all of the pieces of cardstock, I began designing the layout of each card. These first two cards feature the 1-1/2 x 5-1/4 inch pieces of the hand stamped pattern paper. Notice how you can change the look of the card simply by the placement of the pattern paper and the placement of the sentiment.

The third card features the 2 x 5-1/4 inch piece of pattern paper directly down the center of the card. Notice how I am using Garden Green cardstock to matte out, or accent, the hand stamped pattern paper.

The last two cards feature the 3-1/2 x 2-5/8 inch pieces of hand stamped pattern paper. The only difference between the two cards is that I split one of the pieces I half to create two panels on the card. It gives the card a fun look.

Now you can embellish the cards with any sentiments that you prefer. I did a little bit of heat embossing on some black cardstock to create the sentiments for these cards. After embossing the images, I simply cut them out by hand with my scissors. I love how the black background really accents the white embossed sentiments.
